White Beach Hotel in Shimoda is located just 30 seconds across the road from Ohama beach, one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in Japan. We are the closest hotel, bar and restaurant to the beach. At White Beach you can take an after-beach shower, stop in for a beer or cocktail, enjoy a wood fired pizza for lunch or great meal at any time of the day. You can also join us to watch your favorite sporting event on one of our two 50 inch televisions. Beginning Tuesday, October 18, our restaurant, Mario Mare, will close for the winter season. While the hotel will remain open for business, there will be no food service available.
